        Dr. Chia-Yu Wang is a full professor in the Graduate Institute of Digital Learning and Education at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan.

        Her research focuses on designing cognitive and metacognitive scaffolds to support self-regulated learning in digital environments, and using educational games and technologies to enhance science and climate literacy. She has led numerous workshops to help pre-service and in-service science teachers use generative AI to design competence-based instructions and assessments. 

        Her work systematically investigates the dynamic interactions of self- and group-regulation in complex tasks using multimodal learning analytics, with implications for designing effective learning activities and scaffolds in both classroom and digital settings. Dr. Wang's research has been published in leading science education and e-learning journals.
